Nancy founded her independent educational consulting practice in 2017 and has since guided more than 100 students through the college search and admissions process. She brings over 20 years of experience in secondary and higher education, offering families both deep institutional knowledge and a highly personalized approach.
Nancy graduated from Bowdoin College with departmental honors in Art History and a minor in Studio Art. She earned her M.Ed. in Counseling from the University of New Hampshire and completed additional coursework in college counseling at UCLA. Her professional background includes roles as a teacher, coach, advisor, dormitory parent, and college counselor at independent schools, as well as positions in student affairs and career services in higher education.
Deeply engaged in her community, Nancy has served as board chair and board member for local schools, historical, and arts organizations and has volunteered extensively in admissions, alumni relations, annual giving, and career planning at a selective liberal arts college.
When she is not working, Nancy enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their four children, three of whom have successfully navigated the college admission process. She also finds fulfillment completing home renovation projects and creating pottery in her home studio.
Nancy began her consulting practice because she is passionate about helping young adults attain their goals by developing greater self-awareness and learning how to best present their experiences and achievements in their college applications.
